Situated in the French Pyrenees close to the town of Pau, the Bidos plant has been in operation for over 70 years.
Today the 52,000m2 facility employs approximately 845 people. Activities at Bidos are focused on manufacturing, processing (heat and surface treatments) and also assembly for production programs and spares. Core competencies include the production of large machined parts, (in particular sliders), as well as the assembly of shock absorbers or complete landing gears for large commercial, regional and business, military aircraft and helicopters.
Large commercial programs include Airbus A318/A319/320/321 nose and main gears, A330/340 nose landing gears, A340-500/600 centerline and nose gears, A380 nose landing gear and Boeing 787 Dreamliner main and nose landing gear shock absorbers. Regional and military programs include the Falcon 50, 900, 2000 and 7X, ATR 42 and 72, TBM 700, Superjet 100, Rafale (Marine and Airforce versions), Airbus A400M, as well as helicopters such as Super Puma, Dauphin and Tiger.
